Technical Consultant - Linux

£50,000-60,000

As Technical Consultant, you will be providing expert technical knowledge and professional guidance across pre-sales processes through to implementation stages of projects.

You will work closely with key teams within the business, identifying technical and business requirements across your client base and support within the solution design.

May be required to be part of the on-call team (as per individually agreed on prior arrangement), assisting with incident management and problem resolution, which may require working outside of the normal business hours.

You are responsible for applying ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 in your general conduct.

You have a responsibility to promote high levels of internal and external customer care within your own areas of work.

You are expected to participate in team meetings and your performance reviews, engaging in the setting of objectives to assist in monitoring your performance and development with your line manager.

To be guided by and demonstrate company values, principles, and code of business conduct in all working activities and promoting them to others.

You may, with reasonable notice, be required to work at any of the company sites, including client and third-party sites.

Client management, troubleshooting, solution thinking (identify & resolve)

Issue, incident and DR management

Physical asset management expertise

Data centre management & control (clients kit in DC's)

Monitoring & back up tools (such as: Halcyon; Zabbix; SolarWinds; VEEAM; Evault)
